The Mission of the Morris County Library Foundation is to support and enhance the activities and programs of the Morris County Library.

Give the gift of knowledge to our community. Our children are our future; please help make sure they have the resources they need to thrive. You can help the Library – and our community – flourish!

The Foundation’s Main Objectives:

•Supplement acquisition of library materials and support of children’s services and adult literacy

•Enhance educational and promotional activities developed by the Morris County Library

•Support special projects hosted by the Library

How does the Morris County Library Foundation contribute to our community?

Public monies fund a fine public library for Morris County, but it is private gifts that make it excel.

The nonprofit foundation is a legacy for the future. It attracts private funding and endowments that can make a difference between good resources and modern and diverse state-of-the-art resources.

The Morris County Library Foundation administers and manages the endowment fund account. Gifts to the Morris County Library Foundation are deductible for income tax purposes.

As our Founding President, Joan Bramhall often said, "Fine libraries exist with public funds…but through private funds…they flourish! "
