How does the Foundation support the Library?

 

• Makes enhancements to children’s programs including: additional story hours, reading clubs, puppet shows, magicians, reading and writing contests and other special children’s activities incorporating reading, music and the arts, just for children that are exciting and educational

 

• Assists in funding special events, concerts, exhibits and lectures which the library hosts

 

• Purchases state-of-the-art technology and media equipment

 

• Purchases new handicapped work stations and amenities

 

• Assists in providing training for literacy programs and other activities that enhance and approve 
  the culture and people in our community

 

• Celebrates the special ethnic and cultural diversity of our county

 

•Purchases additional books and media for collections of music, arts, business and science
